This may sound odd coming from a person with a craft blog, but it is true. I dislike most crafts that require manual cutting, massive quantities of glue, and multiple materials. I am a perfectionist; crafts conflict with my nature. I am the mother of two beautiful girls who deserve the best. They have artistic inclinations. What I see as a mess, they see as creating art. While homeschooling them as a kindergartener and pre-schooler I discovered that arts and crafts were their favorite subject. It was the one activity that they would choose over television and video games.

If I keep up creating all these craft items I may have to take back my declaration that I am not a "craft person". I think I have at least called a truce about my hating crafts. You Tube has been a tremendous help. I never would have known how to do many things without it. Maybe I can inspire others to do crafts for the sake of the children.

Galatians 6:9 And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.
